Located in a plaza not too far from Little Elm beach, step into this market for pure authenticity. It's cramped & the line wraps around the tiny store but it works. Prices are reasonable & portions are large. Grab some hot fresh tortillas in the coolers by the front registers. Menu varies on weekends but we ordered the steak torta & carnitas plate with a big side of nopales. Bold & flavorful taste, this'll definitely be a regular stop after a day at the Little Elm beach.

I’m in love with this meat market! They have everything you need! I came here with my friend the other day! Her mom was here from Mexico so we were getting a lot of meat to celebrate! We got pollo for pozole, and carnitas I’m pretty sure! I also got some coconut water! Everything was delicious! I definitely want to try to come back here sometime soon!

Very authentic Mexican meats "Cafe", they know some English but best if you know some Spanish :-) The line service was very fast and convenient. The menu was very easy to read. Less clear about which dish is what when looking at the line. The crew members were very friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The business was very clean. The chili relleno, tacos, and chicherones were accurate, hot and delicious. It was a very good experience. I will return.

The grocery store has a counter served food to go or eat on premise. They offer tacos, burritos, tortas, parrilladas and even cooked meat by the pound. They also offer Mexican rice, refried beans and elote cups. The staff at the back worked diligently to get orders out fast. I got there late on a weekend and the meat selection was running out (which makes sense, you don’t want to refill everything as you get ready to close). The carnitas tacos were the bomb and a really liked the refried beans. The other meats had a very good seasoning but I would recommend to select the meats based on what you see in the pans to be the softest and moist. Overall, they were authentic tasting tacos. Price was good considering the size and amount of fillings. It was a busy night and one of the meat selection was wrong and they forgot to give me salsas. Service at the registers were a hit or miss.

Watched a guy buy 50 lbs worth of chicken meat, which is supposed to be about $5/lb, but he only spent $100 at $2/lb. No common customer would get away with this, and it really sucks that we pay premium pricing, when they are clearly able to give away meat for cheaper.

There is a small taqueria in the back with amazing tacos and more. The barbacoa gordita is the best I've ever had! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful.

Best place to get raw meat for the carne asada. I've been coming here since day one, will never go to any other meat market. Extremely kind staff. I highly recommend this place. Always packed. But for great reasons.
